Welcome to Beach Lodge Guest House

Beach Lodge is a family run 4 Star Edwardian Guest House, which provides bed and breakfast accommodation. The Lodge is non-smoking throughout for your comfort.  We have off-road parking for 4 cars with unrestricted street parking.

The guest bedrooms all have their own en-suite bathrooms with complimentary toiletries, towels and hair dryers.  There is also a comfortable guest lounge with a variety of books for you to borrow.  Breakfasts are freshly cooked to order and we support a local organic farm that supplies us with our bacon, sausages, eggs and honey, all other produce we use is organic where possible.

The house is located in a quiet tree lined avenue only 100 yards from Southbourne’s Blue Flag beach - an easy 10 minute stroll.  At the opposite end of Grand Avenue is Southbourne Grove that has a selection of shops, pubs and cafés.

Boscombe Pier is a 20 minute walk from the Lodge and is the location for Europe’s first artificial surf reef.  The Lodge also has secure storage for surf boards, wet suits and other outdoor equipment.  Bournemouth town centre is 2½ miles away and Bournemouth Pier is roughly a 40 minute walk along the promenade or beach.  Christchurch is 2½ miles in the opposite direction.  

Beach Lodge is also a great base from which you can explore the New Forest, Jurassic Coastline and many other areas of the beautiful counties of Hampshire and Dorset.
