Welcome to Beach Lodge Guest House

Beach Lodge is a family run 4 Star Edwardian Guest House, which provides bed and breakfast accommodation.  We welcome singles, couples and families as well as cyclists, golfers, walkers, surfers, water sport enthusiasts.

The house has been attractively refurbished to modern standards whilst preserving its remaining original features.  It is located in a quiet tree lined avenue only 100 yards from the sea and Blue Flag beach which can be accessed via a zigzag path at Fisherman’s Walk.  For your comfort the Lodge is non-smoking throughout.  At the opposite end of Grand Avenue is Southbourne Grove that has a selection of shops, pubs and cafés.

We have tastefully furnished guest bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms and relaxing king, double and single beds, there is also a comfortable guest lounge with a variety of books for you to borrow.  Our breakfasts are freshly cooked to order and we support a local organic farm that supplies us with our bacon, sausages, eggs, honey and tomatoes, all other produce we use is organic where possible.  We also have secure storage for outdoor equipment, walking boots, surfboards, wetsuits and bicycles, and there is off-road parking for 4 cars with unrestricted street parking.

Beach Lodge is a great base to explore the New Forest, Jurassic Coastline and the beautiful counties of Hampshire and Dorset.  It’s the ideal location for outdoor activities and for beach lovers there is easy access to the stunning seven miles of award winning coastline with spectacular views across Poole Bay.

Boscombe Pier is within easy walking distance of the Lodge and is the location for Europe’s first artificial surf reef that will be operational in the Autumn 2008 and will provide some great surfing conditions here on the south coast.
